Puna Culinary Festival

Various Facilitators

November 3, 2012 - November 11, 2012

Learn, feast, and enjoy with us as we celebrate the Puna Chefs' and Farmers' Culinary Festival!

From November 3rd-11th, visitors and Big Island residents will gather to experience the vibrant home-grown cuisine of Puna. Learning about and savoring Pacific, particularly Hawaiian, food will be the delightful experience of every participant.

The Puna Chefs' and Farmers' Culinary Festival includes:

  • Featured Dinner and 'Iron Chef' Competition, November 3rd
  • Farm to Fork: a full week of culinary classes and activities, November 3rd-11th
  • Two special culinary tasting dinners, November 6th and 8th
  • A Taste of Pahoa, a culinary event in Pahoa town, November 9th
  • Behind the Scenes Luau, our spectacular closing event on November 10th.

The festival also features farm tours (produce, coffee, vanilla, and more), visits to local markets, and innovative culinary classes.

Click here to view the Puna Culinary Festival website for in-depth information about the festival.

In addition to culinary classes, we will also be featuring Stewart Blackburn's Shaman in the Kitchen workshop this year - a four-day exploration of the alchemy of food.
