Michele has a passion for bringing people together to share in healthy and fulfilling experiences in naturally beautiful environments.  She has been planning fitness camps for seven years on the Big Island of Hawaii.  She is fortunate to reside in two amazing states, Colorado and Hawaii which provide a wealth of outdoor activities.  Creating retreats to explore the wonders of each of these places and others has been a long time dream.  Practicing yoga has been meaningful part of her life for many years which inspired her to take that interest one step further and become a certified instructor.  She currently teaches Vinyasa Flow and gets to share her love of yoga daily with others.
Michele invites you to join us explore internal harmony with oneself and external harmony with nature and others by escaping the everyday on a Love Adventure Yoga Retreat.

Teddi McEwen, 200 RYT, Zumba Fitness Certified

Teddi discovered yoga as a stay home mom in California after leaving corporate america. Even though she "looked fit and healthy", living a fast paced high adrenaline lifestyle left her immune system in despair and she suffered many common illness that most doctors would be prescribing medication with. She chose to listen to her inner voice and decided to rebel against traditional western medicine. Moving with her family to Hawaii, she also made many lifestyle changes & was inspired to teach yoga & meditation, Zumba Fitness and became an educator of Essential Oils. Her past experiences have certainly made her who she is today: a fun, young at heart, adventurous soul who can appreciate all that IS in THIS MOMENT.
Teddi is looking forward to spending a fun time with others by dancing, breathing, connecting on a Love Adventure Yoga Retreat.

About the Facilitator(s)

I started my path in Yoga at 17 and I was drawn in a very deep way and somehow knew that this was “my way”. When I was in India I was called “an old soul” and India itself felt familiar. My path of Yoga led to self-discovery and for many years it was enough to practice Yoga.

Then in 2006, I had this realization that I needed to share the knowledge that I had learned and in fact “not to share” would be selfish. That this was part of my higher purpose. I then completed my teacher training at the Bryon Bay Yoga Centre in Australia under the supervision of John Ogilvie. I have also studied with other teachers such as Shiva Rea, Christine Selda, and Bernie Clark. I have been teaching ever since.

My intent is to bring joy and healing through the practice of Yoga – to guide people in the true connection of their inner being. I incorporate breath, sequencing and asana and mediation in my teachings. I teach a dynamic Vinyasa Flow Practice as well as Yin Yoga, Prenatal and Therapeutic Yoga. I live in Nelson, BC in the heart of amazing mountains.
