Ken has practiced yoga for over 10 years is certified ERYT-200/RYT-500 by Yoga Alliance after completing his Yoga Therapy training at Ananda Seva Mission in 2010. Ken has been leading Naked Men’s classes since 2007. In his classes, Ken provides eclectic Non-denominational Hatha yoga guidance, honoring a variety of traditions, such as Iyengar alignment principles, invigorating Kudalini Kriya, and playful Acroyoga-inspired partner work. He invites you to embrace SIMPLICITY, PATIENCE and COMPASSION as you deepen your practice and your connection with your true Self. Ken also offers Yoga Therapy workshops on a variety of topics such as restorative yoga, grief, relationships, stress management and coping with chronic illness.
Tim J Luddy
Tim works with introducing imagery during opening meditation that will encourage focus and exploration during a safe, energetic Hatha flow class, and with building community through partner work. Tim is certified RYT-200 by Yoga Alliance, and is working on his 500-Hour certification through Yoga Tree’s Teacher Training program, specializing in Therapeutic Yoga. He has been fortunate to study with teachers including Jason Crandell, Harvey Deutch, Darren Main, and Lauren Slater. He teaches two weekly classes with San Francisco’s Naked Yoga for Men group, and taught at the 2013 Open Body conference at Wildwood. Tim has attended every one of the Men’s Naked Yoga retreats at Kalani, and is excited to be co-facilitating this one with Ken.
Director of Kauai Yoga School, Michaelle Edwards is also a body worker, musician, and postural therapist.
Inventor of YogAlign, a painless way to do yoga, self-massage and neuromuscular reeducation, she aims to give people tools to heal themselves.

Gina & Meggan’slifelong friendship began in Las Vegas, Nevada where they lived and practiced yoga together. Now, nearly 20 years later, they are both certified teachers who share a passion for teaching yoga globally while inspiring students to defend the earth and live a life of passion!

YogaMama Gina, founder of sukasana.org, has a BA in environmental studies, is a certified Pursha& Pre/Post-Natal yoga teacher as well as a chakra energy healer. She currently lives in Bahía de Caráquez, Manabi, Ecuador with her husband and four children where she teaches daily classes and manages operations for sukasana.org.
Meggan is a certified Hatha and Street Yoga teacher, has completed a 200 hour Anusara Inspired Training and holds a BA in Women’s Studies. Her teaching style emphasizes conscious alignment, vibrant breath and life-affirming spirit! Meggan inspires students in their practice, by providing a safe, welcoming and challenging environment in which to breathe and move. She is a mother, a music lover, a vegetarian, a self-proclaimed eco-warrior and deeply committed to teaching yoga from the heart.
Need a break from your routine? Looking to strengthen and rejuvenate your
practice? Then this retreat is for you, open to all levels. Each morning will begin with
a 90 min power practice that will challenge and awaken the body. Evening sessions,
also 90 minutes, will be focused on pranayama techniques, hatha and yin yoga.
Classes are taught with humor, modifications, and will focus around the chakra

Nikki Weaver finds peace and joy through the beauty, grace and power of coordinating movement and breath through her physical yoga practice. She is a playful and nurturing teacher, bringing her creative energy to her flow.
Nikki discovered yoga and massage while running at a National level for Australia. It was part of her weekly self-care, along with stretching and pilates. After running in the 2000 Sydney Olympic trials she slowly began to expand her knowledge on how the body worked. First, she became a certified trainer which led to more yoga. Soon she was running less and standing on her head more.
In 2005, Nikki completed her 200 hour Kripalu yoga teacher training. She is certified in power, children's, and pre/post natal yoga. She has taught yoga around the globe, including Jamaica, Iceland, and Australia. In 2007, she began her career in massage after her training at The Muscular Therapy Institute in Boston,MA specializing in sports massage. Nikki can be found working at Trainer's Club in Lake, Oswego as a yoga teacher and LMT. On stage, you might find her at Portland Playhouse, a company started by her husband and brother in-law. Sharon Hanson has been a dedicated and passionate yogini since 1991 and has been teaching since 1996. Her background includes teacher certification from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centre, and completion of teacher training with Ana Forrest of California and world-renowned teachers Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten.
"Shakti" Sharon designs her classes to honor each student needs and the group as a whole by drawing upon her experience and knowledge of yoga, which is deeply rooted in the Raja tradition—the Eightfold Path. She skillfully choreographs her classes with postures to develop core strength, flexibility, and purification for the muscles, skeleton, and visceral body. She incorporates breath work in all her classes to facilitate purification and energy and advocates focus and intention to create discipline of the mind, leading to change and empowerment.

Carol P. Prentice
Carol Prentice has a passion for working with and helping others heal themselves. If given the right tools, she believes that you can heal and transform your own life. At a very young age, she experienced a traumatic back injury and was forced to rely on the western ways of surgery and medication to ease her pain. This experience led her to a lifelong pursuit of healing herself and in teaching the Alexander Technique, Ayurveda, and Yoga. Carol graduated from Alexander Training Institute in San Francisco under the direction of Frank Ottiwell in 1986; she furthered her studies with first generation Alexander Teachers Marjorie Barstow, Walter & Dilly’s Carrington, and Marjory Barlow. Carol is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist (Ayurveda Body Therapies) and a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda, where she is currently a faculty member. Carol has been a student of yoga since the early 80’s, but it wasn’t until she met Mr. TKV Desikachar in 2009, that she experienced the true healing side of yoga. She is a graduate of the Healing Yoga Foundation in S.F., a 500-hour teacher-training program in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya. Chase Bossart, M.A. is a longtime personal student of Mr. T.K.V. Desikachar. A daily-life practitioner with deep theoretical understanding and a clear, warm and engaging presentation style, Chase uses humor and practical examples to make the teaching experiential and accessible. He has extensive experience in the therapeutic application of yoga in the tradition of S’ri T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. Chase is the former Director of Therapy & Education at the non-profit Healing Yoga Foundation (www.HealingYoga.org) in San Francisco. He gives frequent workshops on a broad range of yoga topics throughout the U.S. and especially loves to lead experiential workshops demonstrating yoga philosophy’s practical applications in daily life. Elizabeth Cunningham Bossart holds a Masters Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Mt. Madonna Institute. She completed the 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training through Healing Yoga Foundation. Elizabeth has a private practice, Sukha Wellness, located on Union St. in San Francisco. She is currently a Teacher Intern for Mount Madonna institute. Michael D. Frederick
Michael Frederick is an internationally recognized teacher in the field of Psycho-physical Re-education. He trained as an Alexander Teacher in England with Walter Carrington and in America with Marjorie Barstow, both master teachers trained by F. M. Alexander. Michael studied in the U.S. and Israel as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. Since 1974, Michael as extensive Yoga training in both the U.S. and India with the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. He is the founding director of the first three International Congresses on the Alexander Technique and has organized over 150 workshops in the U.S. and Europe since 1978. Kimberly Dark is a master facilitator who has led groups to awareness and understanding on three continents over the past twenty years. In addition to teaching yoga since 1999, she’s a writer and storyteller whose work has been invited to hundreds of colleges, universities, theatres, festivals and conferences. Her yoga classes focus on strength, balance, flexibility and peace for every body – an ability to practice radical self-love and acceptance while learning the skills of peace and cultural transformation. She blogs regularly for Huffington Post and Ms. Magazine in addition to contributing essays and stories about personal and cultural transformation via body acceptance to a variety of books and publications.
Kimberly uses an Iyengar-style training and more than twenty years experience with diverse yoga practices to challenge and welcome students of every ability and body type.
