This workshop will help you identify the castes of honeybees, the delicious & amazing products they create, and identify the pests & diseases that could harm them. The focus of this workshop is to offer insight into how bees communicate, why & how they do what they do, and how to use preventive care to protect them from harmful pests & diseases. We will be working with top bar hives that have been established at Kalani since August 2015. These hives will demonstrate for us through a hands on learning experience all of their incredible skills and masterful designs.
