"Mastering the Mental Skills of Pleasure" Workshop with Stewart Blackburn
Saturday, September 20, 2014 - 9:00am - 4:30pm
Other - see description
We all like pleasure. Ultimately, the desire for pleasure or simply feeling good is what motivates us to do anything. But we are not taught how to be skillful at finding, intensifying, and gracefully letting go of pleasure to maximize it in our lives. There are lots of things we can do to vastly increase our pleasure by just using our mind.
Join as at Kalani Open Mic to share live music, readings, and performances. Hear new and old musical favorites, listen to stories and poetic verse, and be entertained by the extraordinary local talent in our community.
We ask performers to sign up at the entrance and perform one song/piece only at less than 5 minutes. We will also be requesting live performances only (we have other opportunities for short films.)
Kalani is pleased to present A Kalani Hawaiian Culture Program, with classes led by Ryan McCormack, Junior College Instructor. Join us for enlightening cultural insights grounded in Hawaiian Mythology and talk story.
Location: Kalani Admission: By donation; proceeds collected will go directly to the speaker.
