Carrie Rowell spent her childhood in Oahu and has been fascinated by all aspects of the Hawaiian culture ever since. She has studied various forms of dance and martial arts and has trained with several Hawaiian masters of the healing arts over the last 13 years. Since 1998 she has traveled the world teaching Lomi Lomi, sacred dance and women’s workshops. She is a continuing education provider in several countries and her style is fun and technical with an emphasis on hands-on work.
Fees include workshop, meals, accommodations, and use of Kalani's facilities including pool, hot tub and sauna.

Wailana started professional Aerial Dance in 2000 in Honolulu after being a professional Modern Dancer in San Francisco (1992 - 2000). Recently, he was in Fiji's University of the South Pacific teaching and choreographing for the Oceania Dance Theater. Wailana has travelled all over the U.S., Indonesia, Philippines, New Zealand to perform and teach both Aerial & Modern Dance. He started teaching Aerial Dance (a unique blend of modern dance, aerial technique, and improv) at Kalani in 2006 where he was a volunteer and later becoming Kalani's Hawaii Culture and Performing Arts Director. A proud ambassador of the legacy of Kalani, Wailana is looking forward to returning "home" to share and learn from one of the best communities on the planet.
Lucas has taught full time for 10 years, owned his own studio in New York city for 4 years, and spent time directly with Bikram, working closely with him and other senior teachers over the course of a dozen Bikrams teacher training programs and a couple of advanced seminars as well. Lucas will go in depth on breath work, philosophy and directional movement in class as well as in the posture clinics. I believe that Bikram yoga is a powerful transformational tool. Transformation does not require anything complex or fancy, exclusive or elite. It is a process that we all have available to ourselves, should we have the courage to utilize powerful tools like Bikram yoga in an honest way. It is my aim to facilitate this process with every student I meet, in whatever way serves that student the most. I am certain that along the way we can have some laughs and enjoy the world around us also!

Cheryl will bring 10 years teaching experience in Bikram yoga as well as Hawaiian chanting.Owning a studio and helping to coach yoga competitors of all levels,she will share with you alignment, connection and expression.With a open mind we will explore the 84 hatha postures to add to your foundational practice.Hawaiian chanting has been a passion of hers since she was 18.Chanting is a great way to build prana, and break though self doubt and expression.With her guidance and grace you will be able to see your true potential on your mat and in your life.

Gena Kenny
Gena has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. Her studies began with Jilda Liddicut of the Gaia School of Yoga. She has continued expanding her yoga studies under the guidance of internationally renowned teacher Donna Farhi. Her teaching focuses on nurturing from the inside – out. This approach allows students of all levels of experience and from all traditions to build their own authentic Yoga practice.
“My connection to Hawaii and the spirit of Polynesia comes from a twenty year history of paddling outrigger canoes. Through my many travels to Hawaii, I have had the opportunity to discover the magic of the Polynesian Islands and peoples. In essence the spirit of the islands is "Aloha", which means to be kind, nurturing and loving to yourself, to others and to the planet.”
The creation of "`Ohana Yoga" comes from blending this 'magic' and 'spirit' into her own unique style of teaching. Gena has also authored a book and dvd "The Gift of Yoga".

Kent has a lifelong passion for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. From participating in sports from an early age right up to competing in 5 Ironman Triathlon events Kent has continued to find reasons to be outside. After spending fifteen years as a professional in the corporate world he followed his passion and currently owns and operates Kayak Melbourne a tour business in Australia, and assists Gena as partner in Ohana Yoga & Wellness.
He loves to facilitate helping others get active and have memorable adventures, ensuring his groups have fun filled, safe experiences. He has worked with diverse groups at all levels of fitness and age groups from high school students to Corporate Teams. He has a wealth of fitness related knowledge and is a trained Pilates instructor
