The Gift of Grief: Embracing Life and Loss With Love

Judy Dolmatch and Christy Ceraso

November 18, 2015 - November 24, 2015

To live life fully means we must confront and integrate the experience of loss. The death of loved ones, changes in relationships, impairments of health and abilities, ending professional roles, seeking a sense of place and purpose... all are passages that bring our mortality into focus and invoke grief. These passages ask us to let go of what was and discover what is true now.

About the Facilitator(s)

Judy Dolmatch, MSW, LCSW. Judy is a clinical social worker in private practice in Ashland, OR. She is a nationally certified practitioner of psychodrama and group psychotherapy since 1985. In addition to working with clients around issues of loss, transition and empowerment, she recently cared for her mother at the end of her life through hospice. Her fascination with how humans make sense of their lives has inspired her to lead workshops in improvisational theatre for personal growth and social awareness. She is a co-founder of ARTrageous Camps (www.artrageouscamp.com), a retreat that combines personal rites of passage, creativity and community. Judy believes that living fully is an improvisational art, and when supported by consciousness and compassion, this art is a path to embracing our mortality.

Christy Ceraso, LMT, TARA Approach Practitioner, BA. has been a healing arts practitioner and bodyworker for over 20 years. She has focused her studies on human development, somatic psychology, and spirituality, and is currently earning an MS in Counseling.   She is the co-founder of Wild Women Awakening, a retreat program that also incorporates eco-psychology and expressive art therapy.  Christy cultivates relationships with the elements of nature, widening the scope of connections that can help us reclaim awareness, empowerment, and authentic self-expression. Her work facilitates personal insight into how our wise bodies express our deepest feelings and needs and are the foundation of our spiritual connection and renewal.  Her specialties are healing past traumas that block our energy and inhibit us from fully living life, creating clarity out of confusion, and supporting the graceful navigation of challenging life transitions.

Awaken Mastery – Integration, Manifestation, Movement, Magic

Georgia Jean and The Circle of Light, Anah Reichenbach & Jonathan Cartagena

About the Facilitator(s)

GEORGIA JEAN : Multi-dimensional healer, Hoop dance initiate and channel
Georgia, a professional artist, actor and stand up comedian, experienced a life changing event in 2004 when she spontaneously developed the ability to channel a higher consciousness called
The Circle of Light. For the last 10 years, through this connection, and working with many chronically challenged clients (mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually), Georgia has accumulated a massive amount of recorded material and groundbreaking techniques designed to "transcend the illusion of separation" that keeps humanity, individually and collectively, in a state of suffering, resistance and struggle. She is the coauthor of “The Circle of Light and the Philosopher – Another Magnificent Day – Keys for Unlocking the Soul’s Potential”

Georgia will be teaching the tools of energetic mastery distilled from the wisdom accumulated through her connection to The Circle of Light.

THE CIRCLE OF LIGHT : A non-physical collective of high consciousness energies, (similar to Abraham-Hicks), that come forward in service to the evolution of humanity. Teaching mastery of soul level manifestation, and considered the teachers of teachers, The Circle of Light pick up where most Law of Attraction material leaves off. Their high frequencies are palpable and transformative, their wisdom, both accessible and profound.

Georgia will be channeling The Circle in their soul awakening, deep energetic meditations and for Q & A.

ANAH REICHENBACH AKA HOOPALICIOUS : Hoop Dance Innovator, Teacher and Inspirer
Anah has been credited as being the founder of the modern art of Hoop Dance, and is a pioneer in the Hooping movement.  Over the past 15 years, Anah has traveled the world teaching and performing both live and in commercials for the likes of Cirque du Soleil, Sobe, Nike, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Fergie, The MTV Video Music Awards, Coke, America’s Got Talent and K-Swiss.  The Hoop Revolution® Curriculum that she developed has been the foundation of most other well-known Hoop Dance curriculums.  She is also the star of the feature length documentary “The Hooping Life.” Anah has been featured in many popular publications including The Los Angeles Times, Vanity Fair and Dance Spirit magazine.

In addition to starting this underground dance and culture movement, Anah’s work with celebrities has helped to bring this movement to the mainstream.  Most recently, Anah starred in “HoopBody,” a series of hooping fitness DVDs produced by Gaiam® featuring well-known actress Marisa Tomei.  She worked closely with Ms. Tomei in designing the hooping curriculum taught on the series.

As a consistent leader in the hoop community, Anah created the acclaimed Hoop Revolution Teacher Training Program and the first DVD of the highly anticipated series, "Hoop Revolution's Core Foundation."  She has also won Hooping.org’s 2009 Online Video of the Year and 2010 Instructor of the Year awards.

JONATHAN CARTAGENA: Hoop Dancer & Performer
Originally from Puerto Rico, Jonathan has been dancing since he was 10 years old in numerous dance and performance groups. His movement background easily translated to the hoop and his fast-paced, fluid style and mesmerizing head hooping has garnered him quick recognition. In 2014 his dancing was highlighted in the Masquerade Sensorium promotional video and his "Fall Hooping in NYC" video was featured in Hooping.org who labeled him as "one to watch". As a graduate of the Circle Evolution Hoop Alchemy for Performance Program he dazzled New York city crowds with his powerful and emotive performance "Battle" in their final showcase, "Just Wanna Hoop." Jonathan is also a talented costume designer who pursues his creative passions with commitment, focus and bucket loads of humor.
