This workshop is suitable for all, whether you are interested in pursuing a career in massage therapy or for personal growth and enjoyment.

At the end of the 11-day intensive you will be able to:

• Give a professional massage incorporating a variety of techniques using the Touching from the Heart sequence
• Assess indications and contra-indications for massage
• Understand basic anatomy and kinesiology

Touching from the Heart is about waking up to who you really are. The workshop emphasizes being fully present with your mind, body, emotions and breath at all times and approaching the body with loving-kindness.

Touching from the Heart is a combination of the most effective strokes used in modalities such as Hawaiian Lomilomi, Shiatsu, Rebalancing, Acupressure, Deep Tissue, energy work and many other techniques.

The intentional setting provides a focused experience and a safe learning environment. Yoga and movement are integral part of the workshop for those who wish to participate. Healthy meals, a relaxed atmosphere and time for personal integration and sharing set the tone for an exceptionally rewarding experience.

The Touching from the Heart Clinic offers the opportunity to practice the Touching from the Heart flow directly after an 11 Day Massage Workshop. Students who have completed the 11 Day Massage Workshop provide a number of full hour sessions under supervision over 2 days free of charge to the community. This is especially valuable for those who are not returning to or directly starting a personal practice and enables them to develop a personal routine. Tuition includes feedback and the review of techniques and practices before and after sessions.

Nicolay Kreidler, LMT(MAT-5680 State of Hawaii), trained professionally in Hawaii and at the School of Shiatsu and Massage at Harbin Hot Springs, California. His education on land included Shiatsu, Jin Shin Do Acupressure, Craniosacral as well as Deep Tissue and Swedish massage. He is also an Aquatic Bodyworker and trained in Watsu® and Healing Dance. Nicolay is a registered yoga instructor (200 hours).

Nicolay has assisted and taught in many bodywork classes as well being in active private practice. Those he has touched will testify to his ability to hold a space sacred and safe for learning and healing. Nicolay encountered bodywork as a gateway to his heart. The unexpected experience of the moment expanding and permeating his body and mind during sessions continued to draw him into a state of observation without knowing. His teachers encouraged this transformational process of letting go and diving in.

This endless resource proved to be at the core of any technique. Without this connection the practice remained just that. Tapping into the heart source added a tangible quality of transformation. He believes this access is available to anyone who seeks it.
