Each day we'll explore a different quality of heart, culminating in a grand celebration of joy and abundance for our great fortunes in this life.

Daily Schedule Includes:
1 early meditation and pranayama session, 2 long yoga sessions, and plenty of free time for bodywork, relaxation, and island explorations.
Yoga Sessions: With 2 teachers, one is always assisting as the other teaches. We enjoy offering you modifications for your limitations or strengths!
Morning yoga: energizing and playful, includes sun salutes, standing poses, backbends, arm balances.
Afternoon yoga: calming and restorative, includes forward bends, hip openers, twists, restorative poses, inversions.

Robyn Smith

Robyn is a certified Anusara Yoga Instructor and holds certificates from Forrest Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy and Hanna Somatic Education. She has been teaching yoga since 1994 and offering Somatics since 1998. Robyn teaches with deep passion and joy, while emphasizing safety through alignment; mindful and playful practice; and connection to the spiritual heart.

She enjoys continuing her studies each year with Anusara's founder, John Friend, and takes several workshops annually with top Anusara teachers, including Sarahjoy Marsh and Desiree Rumbaugh, among many others.

She is a student of Buddhist and Yoga philosophy and integrates their teachings into her classes. Robyn also offers workshops and private sessions in Anusara Yoga Therapy and Hanna Somatic Education (Somatics), powerful tools proven to release chronic muscle pain, tension, and habituated contraction patterns, while improving overall balance and well-being. Michele Bulgatz

Michele Bulgatz is a Certified Anusara Yoga teacher in Eugene, Oregon. On the yoga path since 1987, she embraces completely the philosophy of Anusara, teaching with humor, joy and passion. Looking for the good and beauty in everyone, Michele helps her students to radiate their most luminous light. A student of John Friend (the founder of Anusara Yoga) since 1997, she has completed workshops, teacher trainings, therapeutic trainings and master immersions. Anusara’s combination of heart orientated virtues, precise bio-mechanical alignment and supportive community offers a transformational experience both on and off the mat.

Michelle Bulgatz

Teaching for the past twelve years, Michele knows she has the best job in the world! She teaches weekly classes, retreats and workshops locally and internationally. As a practicing artist, Michele strives to create beauty in many areas. In 2004 she produced the Loving Kindness Yogathon in Eugene, a twelve-hour celebration of Yoga, Meditation and Kirtan. Participants were invited to co-create a profoundly positive change on every level. She currently links her meditation practice and art by creating quilts expressly for the recipient as a meditation in motion. She transforms worn clothing and textiles for another go around as a warm cuddly blanket. Other passions include; parenting her eleven year old son River, camping, hiking and gardening. Michele is grateful to her teacher John, her family and the kaleidoscopic beauty of life. She welcomes you to the currents of grace and a joyful ride.


Workshop Fees

Prices are per person, and include 6 nights and days at Kalani, 3 delicious meals per day, 2 yoga sessions and one meditation/pranayama session per day, all taxes, and use of Kalani pool, sauna and hot tub. Transport and extra adventures not included.
