We are excited to be leading our 24th Hawaii retreat at Kalani Honua. These retreats have exceeded all our expectations, and have been truly life-changing for each couple that has attended. We focus on seeing our partner with new eyes, healing dysfunctional patterns, renewal, communication, making amends for past hurts, deepening the sexual relationship, and filling the cup of love with our partner. We have couple meditations and yoga, inspiring music, laughter and thrilling sight-seeing – in short, an extraordinary heart-opening experience for you and your partner in the presence of dolphins, whales, a beautiful black sand beach, the nearby active volcano, steam vents, thermal warm ponds, and snorkeling with a kaleidoscope of fish and giant sea turtles.

About the Facilitator(s)

Ram Dass calls Joyce and Barry Vissell “true bhaktis,” a couple who live the yoga of love and devotion. They are a nurse and medical doctor deeply in love for 45 years, who have raised three children and “walk their talk.” Their model of relationship and deeply heart-oriented approach have made a unique impact upon many thousands of people’s lives. As a result of the world-wide interest in their books, The Shared Heart, Models of Love, Risk To Be Healed, The Heart’s Wisdom, and Meant To Be, they have been conducting talks and workshops on relationship, parenting and personal growth. They are the founders and directors of the Shared Heart Foundation (www.sharedheart.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the world one heart at a time. The Vissells write a monthly column on 'living from the heart' that appears in about 80 publications worldwide.
