Find Your ‘Ono (delicious)
Maureen Priest & Tom Sharp
December 2, 2010 - December 8, 2010
Known as the “Healing Island,” personal transformation seems to be accelerated here.
This island is less crowded and less commercial than other Hawaiian islands and offers spectacular natural attractions like waterfalls, botanical gardens, snorkeling, scuba diving, and hiking — and Kalani is only a quick walk from a black sand swimming beach. Nearby volcano Kilauea provides a dramatic backdrop for an amazing pilgrimage of relaxation and restoration.
Daily Yoga Schedule: Invigorating Vinyasa 9 – 11 AM
Restorative Yoga 8–10 PM
About the Facilitator(s)
Maureen Priest, ERYT, founder of MOYO (www.moyo-yoga.com) teaches yoga to help students connect to their breath, allowing the student to use self discovery to meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Maureen encourages playfulness and wants her students to ignite their passion for life! Her yoga is inspired by Forrest Yoga and her own healing process. Maureen is certified in Forrest Yoga and CE.
Tom Sharp, RYT was certified by the Kripalu Yoga Center to teach yoga. He has practiced, taught, and studied yoga for over ten years. To each class he brings that experience, along with a knowledge of yoga distilled from a direct study of the ancient hatha yoga texts. His classes emphasize conscious movement, self-observation, and breath control.
