Shaman in the Kitchen
Preparing and eating wonderful food is delightful enough, but what if we took things to another level?
The Shaman in the Kitchen is a workshop that explores the uses of food and the eating experience to expand our creativity and our ability to craft our lives to our liking.
In this workshop we will prepare a number of wonderful dishes that take us into several realms simultaneously.
Through the workshop we will explore:
- Food and Ritual
- Food in Sympathetic Magic
- Food and the Manifestation Process, and
- Food as Pathway to Deeper Spiritual Connection.
Some of the dishes we will prepare will be savory and sweet Soufflés, Chinese Hot Pot, and the Spanish stew called Zarzuela.
Join local shaman, author, and professional chef Stewart Blackburn in this unique culinary adventure!
Held during the Puna Culinary Festival, you will have plenty of time to explore other classes, farm and market tours, and adventures. Shaman in the Kitchen will take place over 4 consecutive afternoons, November 4th through 7th inclusive, from 2-5PM.
