The Womb of Pele

Nancy Dew, High Priestess

February 18, 2012 - February 25, 2012

Nancy Dew Hawaii AdventureNancy Dew Group PicThe mystical, magical Big Island is full of Aloha Spirit...from the tropical rain forests to the sunny black sand beaches.  We'll be in PUNA, with its lush jungles, exotic trees succulent with fruit and abundant fragrant flowers.   We'll learn from the playful friendly dolphins that come to help us heal...and be in the heart of Pele's womb, where her life force creates anew, in the stark, most active volcano on earth.

- A ritual planting of coconut trees on Pele's newest black sand beach

-Watsu dance in a warm thermal pool

-Walk a jungle path out to warm tide pools for soaking, at the edge of the sea

-Night hike to see the flowing lava

-Hike into Kilauea Crater to make offerings to Pele

-Float on a bamboo in the hidden lake of an ancient volcano

-Swim at a black sand, clothing optional beach

-Learn the Hula, and make your own ti leaf lei

-Explore the famous Hilo Farmers Market

-Swim near and possibly with the dolphins

Be in council with the other Goddess/nature loving women celebrating themselves, at the most remote destination on earth.

This journey has evolved out of many sacred trips to Hawaii, my spiritual jouney, my adventurous nature, and my passionate connection to Madam Pele
