Gentle Yoga on the Big Island
Enjoy a relaxing six day Yoga Vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii with two yoga classes and three delicious meals each day. Morning classes include strengthening, stretching and balancing poses, while afternoon classes focus on gentle stretches and restorative poses for deep relaxation. Devorah’s depth of understanding of the postures along with her attentiveness, compassion, and sensitive guidance allow her to inspire and nurture each student. She is also very skilled at modifying poses so students can work safely with injuries and health conditions. In addition to yoga, there will be time each day to relax by the pool, enjoy a beautiful black sand beach, soak in thermal warm ponds, snorkel with colorful fish and giant sea turtles, or visit the nearby volcano.
About the Facilitator(s)
Devorah Blum, owner Yoga Studio Ganesha, Sebastopol, CA, became a dedicated yoga student in 1975. Devorah is mainly influenced by the Iyengar tradition and spent time in India studying with the Iyengar family. In her fun, nurturing classes, she teaches healthy ways to balance effort and surrender in the poses. She is also a certified Restorative Yoga teacher.
