Big Island Yoga and Wellness Retreat in the Gosh Tradition

Unplug, rejuvenate and feel empowered. Practice daily yoga in the Gosh tradition (alignmentbased) and learn to deepen your meditation practice in an inspiring and natural environment. Learn the tools to develop a strong self practice. Enjoy healthy whole food meals that nourish and replenish your body, mind and spirit.

In the spirit of Aloha we invite you to join us on this yoga wellness journey. We will begin each day with a sunrise meditation followed by a complete buffet breakfast. Yoga class, Gosh 84 asana and/or Master Core series, between 1030 – 1200pm. Afternoons will include a healthy lunch, relaxing by the pool, snorkeling, optional massages and hikes along magnificent ocean cliffs. In the evenings we will enjoy Kalani's open air lanai where we will dine on fresh fish, organic chicken and local grown vegetables (Vegetarian and Vegan options too!). We will end the day with a relaxing yin or restorative practice.

About the Facilitator(s)

Julie is a certified yoga and meditation teacher in the Gosh Lineage. She has studied and practiced Classical Hatha Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Ananda Meditation, Yin Yoga, 84 Asana Level 1 and Master Core series as taught by Master Yogi, Tony Sanchez. Julie is also a Registered Nurse and educator, incorporating principles of energy healing in her practice and teachings. She is currently studying Clinical Yoga Therapy and is passionate about sharing the healing benefits of yoga and meditation.

Ulrike is a certified yoga teacher (Gosh lineage and therapeutic yoga) and 20 year long yoga practitioner. She has practiced Bikram Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Aerial. Ulrike is inspired by the teachings of T.Krishnamacharya, Ana Forrest, Annie Carpenter, the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali. She is currently completing a teaching practicum in the Gosh lineage under yoga master Tony Sanchez and has a background in healthcare and nutrition.
