Shamanic Dreaming in Paradise

SHAMANIC DREAMING IN PARADISE
An Adventure with Robert Moss
Dreaming is when soul wakes up and goes traveling. You may fly across the water in your body of wind following the drumming of the wave to spend the night with your dream lover. Even goddesses do this
From “Moe’uhane: Island Dreaming” by Robert Moss
In many indigenous languages, the word for shaman means "one who dreams," implying one who dreams strong, one who dreams true, one who has unusual access to healing and energy through dreaming. Shamans know we don’t need to go to sleep in order to dream. This is especially well understood in the Hawaiian tradition of dreaming, where it is understood that dreaming can be soul travel and a field of interaction with other beings in other orders of reality.
In this 5 day residential version of one of Robert’s most powerful and popular playshops, we’ll learn how to embark upon hyper-lucid dream adventures with one or more partners, fold time, and travel to places of adventure, initiation and healing in the deeper reality. You’ll find that dreaming can be a highly social activity and that (as Aboriginal shamans teach) a personal dream can be the portal to the Dreamtime, where the events of waking life have their origin. In this high-energy adventure at a dream location on Pele's Island, we'll learn the core techniques in the shaman's way of dreaming, including:
--The art of dream travel: how to journey smoothly beyond the body into other times and other dimensions.
--Dream reentry: how to journey through the portal of a dream to access healing and guidance, resolve nightmare fears, dialogue with dream characters, and become frequent flyers in multidimensional reality.
--Tracking and mutual dreaming: how to embark on shared dream adventures with partners and bring each other vital help and information.
--Timefolding: scouting the possible future and visiting other life experiences.
--Raising our animal spirits: We’ll connect with animal guardians that will lend us the ability to shapeshift the energy body and project energy forms that can operate at a distance from the physical body.
- Soul recovery healing: We’ll open doorways to bring home vital energy that may have been lost through pain or trauma or wrenching life choices.
--Dream enactment: developing personal rituals and spontaneous art to celebrate the powers that speak to us in dreams.
- Navigating by synchronicity: learning how coincidence and the dreamlike symbols around us in everyday life can be marvelous sources of guidance and course correction.
In a beautiful and nurturing setting, working with the energy of fire and water, earth and wind, we'll grow the group energy that makes the extraordinary easy. We'll share wonderful sacred teaching stories and travelers' tales and learn how -- like authentic shamans -- we can work with dream energy to become poets of consciousness, capable of shapeshifting reality and carrying the magic into our everyday lives.
