our planned adventures

Two exciting adventures are included in your retreatbecause really, who doesnt want to have an adventure while on vacation?

Well head out to the amazing tidepools at Kapoho with our rented snorkeling gear (included in your package) for some of the BEST coral structures in the Hawaii island chain, and fish GALORE!

Known officially as the Waiopae Tidepools Marine Life Conservation District, this natural preserve and protected reef  keeps most of the surf out of the tide pools, creating an oasis for Hawaiis colorful reef fish, as well as a good selection of coral. These grounds are especially fertile due to the warm Big Island waters.

There are several large tide pools that are deep enough to snorkel in, as well as many others that you can view from bridges of lava separating the smaller pools.

And if were lucky well see an occasional honu (sea turtle) too!

On another day, well be ziplining over dozens of waterfalls and tropical Hawaiian forest on the longest side-by-side zipline on Hawaii island. It is the ONLY rainforest-canopy-to-raging-waterfall zipline experience, featuring state-of-the-art magnetic braking systems.

Woooohoooooo.cant wait!!!  These adventures are included in the prices listed below, as well as transportation to and from their embarkation spots.

your spa time

Included in the package price is a one-hour spa treatment of your choice. An amazing menu of possibilities can be found at http://www.kalani.com/guest-info/bodywork. Of course you can always arrange additional treatments during your stay. The rate is $90 per one-hour treatment. Longer treatments are also available.

About the Facilitator(s)

Rupali Embry and Tania Jo Ingrahmwe have a combined 50+ years of yoga experience, having founded and owned Yoga Hawaii in Honolulu for 12 of those years.  We've trained nearly 400 yoga teachers internationally, and now want to add in some play and adventure!  We both lean a little to the left side of nutty and are clearly not your typical yoga teachers.

During this retreat well be teaching an eclectic mix of styles, from relaxing to vigorous, plus some purification practices to help you feel fabulous, frisky and refreshed. Expect some mantra practice, pranayama and sutra study to keep things interesting!

We are always happy to take special requests if you have a favorite pose you want to work on (headstand, anyone?).
