Details

Explore the purpose and promise of the Yoga method through Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. We’ll examine each one individually to determine how it applies the wisdom of the past to the needs of the present day and evaluate how they all fit together into the bigger picture of enlightenment. An asana sequence will be included as an expression of the Third Limb, offered by Marcia Galleher.

Tom Mendola, an instructor for over three decades, is a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist who has presented at yoga festivals, teacher trainings and workshops around Arizona. He is president of the Tucson Peace Center and CEO of Harmony and Health Foundation that is currently engaged in sustainable community models based on the yoga precepts. He believes humanity is evolutionary, inclined to awaken. The yoga tradition has provided one clear pathway to that awakening.
