Find Your Heart, Lose Your Mind

Find Your Heart, Lose Your Mind

Find Your Heart, Lose Your Mind, from Feb. 18th - Feb. 25, 2018, is a retreat of Yoga, guided Meditation Sessions, seminars, Big Island Adventures and classes on Hawaiian Culture, the Ukulele and a unique Water Dance - all designed to loosen the grip of your ego-mind voice (filled with ‘shoulds’ and ‘expectations’) so you may free your heart and open into the person you are meant to be.  As a participant, you will walk away with new tools that will help you relax and develop a healthier lifestyle within your busy day.

If we were to grant you a wish--- one wish for anything you wanted---What would it be?

Most people Choose Happiness. Happiness is a broad term that means different things to different people. But most of us agree that to be happy, we want to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit. Find Your Heart, Lose Your Mind, offers suggestions for ways to increase your level of self-love so you can make better decisions about how to live a healthier, happier life. Life is a series of choices. How to make healthy choices for yourself can take practice. This Seven-Day Retreat is designed to introduce you to practices for all three parts of your being – Body, Mind and Spirit.

Through Concentration/Meditation Practices: We will offer you ways to make your own mind a friend rather than a foe. Through breathing, chanting and even mindful movement we will offer tools that will change your mind from an internal taskmaster to a loving companion.

Through Movement and Exercise: We will bring our physical being into health. To have a healthy body, we need to move it. We will explore different types of movement so you can find the type that is best for you. We will offer yoga both traditional Hatha and our unique version of yoga-exercise called “yoga with a kick”. We will also explore Hawaii’s beautiful landscape and visit secluded beaches, hike to thundering waterfalls, and down into deep valleys. When we feel our heart beat, we know we're alive.

The week includes a Hawaiian Culture seminar, a unique “Water Dance” class and a fun and entertaining Ukulele class! Plus, you will have enough personal time to relax by the pool, explore the Puna Coast, get a massage or just take a nap in a hammock!

No matter your level of experience this retreat is for you. We will and can modify all of the yoga and meditation sessions to fit a true beginner to an advanced practitioner.

We will bring the week together with a movement/dance/inner journey session that will help us to free our spirit from the confines of our mind. We will use our breathing, concentration, and movement practices to let go and Free Your Heart!
