Come experience the benefits of Lu Jong, an ancient Tibetan movement practice from the Buddhist Tantrayana tradition for the purpose of self-healing. Rooted in principles of Tibetan Medicine, Lu Jong gently release blockages on the physical, energetic, and mental levels so that we may be more balanced, vibrant and calm.
What is Lu Jong?
Rooted in principles of Tibetan Medicine, Lu Jong is a series of 21 movements that gently massage blocked points on the body channels so that they may open and harmonize the flow of blood and energy in the body.
Combined with rhythmic, deep breathing and mindfulness, Lu Jong is also a meditation in motion, effectively cultivating calm, focused awareness.
The beauty of Lu Jong is its accessibility to people of all ages and abilities.
For those looking for a simple practice that can be confidently continued at home and that fills the requirements for exercise, stretching, breathing, meditation and relaxation all at once, Lu Jong is the answer.
The first group of movements, the gem of Lu Jong, can be practiced in under 15 minutes! It effectively opens and nurtures the spine, balances the five elements of body and mind, and is deeply relaxing and energizing.
Our body is a powerful vehicle of self-transformation. By opening the body in the right ways, we cultivate not only physical vibrancy and mental functionality, but also the qualities revered on the spiritual path.

Farrah Garan teaches traditional Tibetan healing movement practices that empower us to cultivate a calm mind, vibrant energy and open heart, including: Lu Jong Healing Yoga, Tog Chöd Sword Dance, and Tsa Lung Breathwork.
Farrah received the Tantrayana Buddhist tradition from her teacher, Tulku Lobsang. She has worked closely with Tulku Lobsang since 2002, as a student, chairwoman of the US branch of his organization, North American Tour Coordinator, and employee of Nangten Menlang International. She prepares the Teacher’s manuals and has been integral in developing the Lu Jong Teacher Certification program and curriculum.
Farrah is dedicated to spreading the deep wisdom of the Tibetan healing arts. Her aim is to make these simple—but powerfully effective—practices widely known, particularly by training more teachers so that many may benefit.
