Puna Culinary Festival 2013

Various Facilitators

September 8, 2013 - September 15, 2013

Learn, feast, and enjoy with us as we celebrate the Puna Chefs' and Farmers' Culinary Festival!

From September 8th-15th, visitors and Hawaii Island residents will gather to celebrate the vibrant home-grown cuisine of Puna. The festival offers bountiful opportunities to learn about, and savor Pacific and Hawaiian food, made with the abundant produce of Hawaii Island.

This year, the festival features culinary dinners, classes, workshops, special events, market visits and farm tours. Our popular Behind the Scenes Luau is back as the opening event; and this year’s closing celebration with be PupuPalooza, a whimsical and delicious celebration of local appetizers.

The festival is non-profit, presented by Suisan, and stewarded by Kalani, where most of the festival activities take place. The festival was initiated through the important and generous support of the Hawaiian Tourism Authority and the County of Hawaii.
