First Annual Yoga Spring Break; Celebrating Bliss!
Give yourself the healing gift of reclaiming your authentic, natural rhythm with a 5 day, 6 night retreat of yoga on the Big Island of Hawaii in the paradise of Kalani. We will step away from our hectic schedules into lush jungle, sand and sea to fully engage ourselves to explore and play in our yoga practice. The grip of tension will fall away from our minds and body bringing us to a more natural state of being.
This yoga spring break will be a blissful celebration of yoga with 2 daily classes. We will begin each day with an invigorating and awakening Hatha Yoga class focusing on the chakras with the afternoons free to play as you will, snorkeling, hiking, body work, swimming or whatever feeds your spirit. The latter part of the afternoon we will join for a Hatha Yoga class with vinyasa, core power, backbends, twists, forward bends and inversions. There will be 3 focused evening classes during the week exploring Yoga Nidra (guided meditative rest), partner restorative yoga and Yin.
The alchemy of the community and intention of Kalani along with the power of yoga creates fertile ground for restoration and transformation. This retreat will be a celebration to return to your pure self. Be prepared to connect, smile, and laugh and to be gifted with new awareness.
The price of this spring break includes 13 retreat classes, 3 delicious meals daily, accommodations and use of Kalani’s facilities; pool, hot tubs, sauna and library. There is also many guided day and half day adventures and a massage and wellness treatments available for additional cost. Snorkel gear is available for rent.
What is not included: Airfare, airport transfer.

About the Facilitator(s)
Sharon Hanson has been a dedicated and passionate yogini since 1991 and has been teaching since 1996. Her background includes teacher certification from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centre, and completion of teacher training with Ana Forrest of California and world-renowned teachers Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten.
"Shakti" Sharon designs her classes to honor each student needs and the group as a whole by drawing upon her experience and knowledge of yoga, which is deeply rooted in the Raja tradition—the Eightfold Path. She skillfully choreographs her classes with postures to develop core strength, flexibility, and purification for the muscles, skeleton, and visceral body. She incorporates breath work in all her classes to facilitate purification and energy and advocates focus and intention to create discipline of the mind, leading to change and empowerment.
