Vinyasa Yoga Adventure

Kimberly Musial and Dezza Pastor

February 18, 2017 - February 25, 2017

The Yoga Hive’s instructors will offer two yoga classes per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Your presence in these classes is encouraged to soak in the full experience of your retreat; however, it is not required. Classes will include simple meditation, vinyasa yoga practice in the morning, and a more restorative - but still active - evening practice.

Each day we will have an opportunity to connect with other participants, share meals, plan the next day’s adventure and have fun. You can spend time with other participants, or create an adventure and explore the island on your own time. Book a helicopter tour, explore a remote beach, visit Volcanoes National Park, or seek waterfalls; this retreat is very flexible and all about fulfilling your personal dreams.

Families are welcome, but childcare will not be provided.

About the Facilitator(s)

Kimberly Musial
, ERYT, MPA, operates the Yoga Hive, a community oriented vinyasa yoga studio in Pittsburgh, PA. A wife, daughter, mother, sister, and yogi among other roles, she is a lover of adventure.

Her eclectic teaching style draws from her many diverse teachers including Baron Baptiste’s power yoga, Tiffany Cruikshank’s Yoga Medicine and Doug Keller’s Yoga as Therapy. Her assists take cues from her Thai massage training. She is a strong proponent of vipassana meditation and believes in the power and magic of the Big Island. In addition to teaching yoga, Kimberly has been practicing Thai yoga bodywork for four years and also studies chi nei tsang with her teacher Ohm in Chiang Mai.

Dezza Pastor
is a Pittsburgh-based vinyasa yoga and meditation teacher. Her breath-focused yoga flows encourage mindfulness in the moment and spaciousness within. Her classes are usually sparked with lighheartedness, and she brings body alignment awareness that are beneficial for both beginner and more seasoned yogis alike. Her eclectic teaching style is inspired by her various teachers such as Natasha Pizopoulos and Yoga Medicine's Tiffany Cruikshank. More recently, Dezza practices Thai yoga bodywork since training in Chiang Mai.
