Kalani is honored to celebrate 25 years of Ecstatic Dance, a practice that has grown from its roots here at Kalani on Hawaiʻi Island into a worldwide movement of embodied expression, healing, and connection. For a quarter century, this community ritual has invited thousands of people to move beyond words, rediscover themselves through dance, and experience the profound joy of authentic presence.
Join us November 13–15th for a weekend honoring the past, present, and future of Ecstatic Dance. Together we’ll celebrate the facilitators, musicians, visionaries, and dancers who helped shape this living tradition into what it is today.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll enjoy daily Ecstatic Dances, contact improv, workshops, yoga and movement classes, sound baths, and panel discussions featuring both the original creators of Ecstatic Dance and current facilitators sharing stories, wisdom, and the evolution of this global movement. There will also be opportunities to connect with community, reflect on the legacy of the practice, and dance into its next chapter.
Whether you’ve been dancing for decades or are stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time, this anniversary celebration welcomes you exactly as you are.
BLESSFEST

BlessFest is a gathering for all lovers of the earth and of the divine. It’s a celebration vehicle for the expansion and evolution of human consciousness through heart centered world music, song, chant , yoga, dance, embodiment, dharma talks, storytelling, and education on health, sustainability, and giving back to local communities.
BlessFest encourages us to face challenging aspects of being human with compassion, self inquiry, tolerance, and equanimity. It is a community that joins in ancient and contemporary sacred practices as a means of recalling and remembering the inherent peace and blessings that lie within, and sharing that with the world for a revolution of heart.
BlessFest also holds as part of its mission the belief that celebrating the beauty of life and tending to its struggles are not separate acts, but two expressions of the same grace — and so directs a portion of its proceeds toward those navigating real hardship in the world.
