Located in the coastal forests of the Big Island of Hawai’i, our educational center offers unique spaces, welcoming staff, and a stunning backdrop perfect for hosting a memorable workshop or event. We offer studio rentals for workshops and events, beautiful on-site lodging, and customized arrangements for larger groups and entire property rentals.

Please note we are only accepting applications for workshops and events at this time. We are not currently accepting applications for retreats because we no longer have a retreat kitchen or catering options available. The nearest food options are the restaurants in Pahoa, about a 20 minute drive from our center. Please check back here for any updates on our future availability for hosting retreats.

CUSTOMIZED EVENT PACKAGES
We are able to host workshops, events, and festivals for both small gatherings and large groups. Previous events have included simple afternoon workshops, dance performances, live music shows, theater plays, poetry readings, weddings, and multi-day festivals. We have a large studio space that can accommodate up to 300 people, as well as open outdoor spaces that can be utilized as areas that food or art vendors can set up. If desired we can assist with coordinating various aspects of events for a smooth production. Please inquire for rates if you are interested in booking out the entire property for your event.
GROUP LODGING BOOKINGS
We are able to host lodging groups of up to 25 people with a range of occupancy options available. Our unique ocean view cottages can accommodate a maximum of two to three guests per room depending on the specific cottage. There are 5 cottages with a King bed plus Twin bed arrangement which can be converted into 3 Twin beds if preferred and accommodate up to three guests. We also offer 5 cottages with King bed arrangements that can be transformed into 2 Twin beds if preferred and accommodate up to two guests each. WORKSHOP STUDIO
Our Blue Moon Room studio is available for workshop and event rentals. This studio is a breezy screened structure with high ceilings, a stage and wooden floors that can accommodate up to 300 people inside. The exact rate of hourly rentals depend on factors such as the number of attendees expected, the function of the event and additional needs or support that may be required for a successful event. The typical range for most workshop and event rentals range from $75 per hour to $200 per hour.
KALANI CAMPUS ACCESS
In addition to your private workshop or event spaces, lodging guests will have access to the Kalani campus. Enjoy the ample nature walking trails and gardens, schedule therapeutic body work, or choose to attend any number of daily classes that Kalani has to offer.
