ECSTATIC DANCE

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Rise and shine with us every Sunday morning at the mothership of the dance that changed the world! Ecstatic Dance at Kalani created the template for this worldwide phenomenon of weekly community dances held as ritual dance experience. A beloved modern tradition that transformed our local community and the lives of thousands of dancers from around the globe.

Each Sunday opens with an invigorating yoga warm up led by Megan Yogini. Next we flow into the opening circle, and then a two and a half hour classic Ecstatic Dance, and then closing circle.

Our Sunday dances have long been the heartbeat of the Big Island dance scene; a rhythmic pulse of expression and connection. An outlet for the body, mind and spirit, the container is held to safely move through all levels of emotional release. Let’s dance our prayers together!

KING CODES

FRIDAY, JUNE 12th, 2026 FROM 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Men, are you ready to step into your true power? Join us at Kalani Retreat Center, June 12th in the Blue Moon Room from 10-2 pm for a day of breathwork, shake rising and ecstatic dance. Next, we will break for lunch, then head over to black sand beach for heart activation, throat activation and a final blessing in the water.

This one-day intensive is for men who are looking to re-connect with themselves in the beautiful Hawaii jungle. King Codes, a unique experience exclusively for men, will help you plug into your own self-love, self-acceptance, and inner connectedness to build safety and trust from the inside out.

This retreat is for men who are wanting to live in deeper communion with themselves and others. The breathwork (our first workshop) will center around themes such as: release guilt, shame and anger, and plugging into the innocence of your primal self. Next, the shake rising practice (an intentional movement practice) will help you move any stuck or stored energy in your body, creating space for love and freedom. Next, the ecstatic dance will help you plug into your willpower and joy, moving about the space in ways that feel good. Next, our heart activation will help you bring all the different parts of yourself back home. Learn to see yourself through the eyes of Love. Next, our throat chakra activation will help you get comfortable with your own voice, needs, desires and authenticity. Finally, the blessing in the sand will help you feel the love of all Divinity, symbolizing a washing away of the past and moving forward… aligned, sovereign and empowered.

What to bring with you: water and food for the day. A packed lunch and snacks. A swimsuit and towel (if you plan on swimming.) Please note: the descent into black sands beach will be at your own risk, as well as any activities in the water. Waivers and more information will be passed around at the beginning of the retreat.

Safety, joy, health, healing and empowerment are the core themes of this day. So please let us know how we can further support you. Please email me at [email protected]

See you in the Blue Moon Room, 10 am sharp.

To Reserve your spot: $100 deposit to Megan-Hadley-2 on Venmo.
