Mark KadotaMark Kadota

My main motivation to create artwork is to find universal languages, searching for common truths that unite rather than separate. I feel that artwork, at its best, mirror society and our interior selves, raise questions, and presents communication and reflection. I try to make my messages human, poetic, inclusive, humorous, accessible and comprehensible to everyone.

Hawaii Blue Hands - Men's Adventure, Massage and Health Retreat

Maxwell Starkhouse, Dennis Dehler and jaRed Sam

Massage Picture courtesy of Ripplemassage.com.auWe are currently offering FREE upgrades!  Rest, Relax and Rejunenate on the Big Island for 6 days.

About the Facilitator(s)

Accoding to the Mayan Calendar, Blue Hand represents the 'beauty way', the ability to see intrinsic beauty within yourself and in all things. Living the beauty way requires being in your full beauty and power. From this place, your self-authority naturally flows. This is the position where your ego is aligned with divine will. When you are standing in your full beauty and power, your very presence invites others to be all that they are. To the Maya, Blue Hand represents the deer, the gentle, serenely aware guide who walks in fluid beauty and grace, opening and revealing.

Blue Hands people are natural healers.  Maxwell, jaRed and Dennis are all Blue Hands and have been living, loving and exploring in Hawaii for 9 years.  They are all licensed massage therapist and gifted yoga teachers, and love sharing the beauty and joy of living in Hawaii.

`Ohana Yoga Retreat

Gena Kenny

September 7, 2010 - September 14, 2010

Gena's YogaCome and experience the ultimate yoga retreat. Yoga, adventure and the spirit of Polynesia all in the most spectacular venue on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Enjoy daily Hatha yoga practice, workshops and meditation, swimming in thermal pools heated by lava, snorkeling with amazing marine life such as turtles and dolphins. Hike the live volcano and observe the land growing right before your eyes.

About the Facilitator(s)

Gena Kenny

Gena Kenny

Gena has worked in the health and fitness industry as a lecturer and instructor for 18 years. She has taught yoga to such diverse groups as elite athletes, corporate groups, senior citizens and those seeking improved flexibility and strength and mind awareness.

`Ohana Yoga weaves together the spirit of polynesia and a hatha style of yoga. Combining breath, postures, relaxation and meditation which all aim to quiet your mind and bring renewed energy to your entire being.

My connection to Hawaii and the spirit of Polynesia comes from a twenty year history of paddling outrigger canoes. Through my many travels to Hawaii, I have had the opportunity to discover the magic of the Polynesian Islands and peoples. In essence the spirit of the islands is "Aloha", which means to be kind, nurturing and loving to yourself, to others and to the planet.

The creation of "`Ohana Yoga" comes from blending this 'magic' and 'spirit' into my own unique style of teaching. Gena has also authored a book and dvd "The Gift of Yoga".
