The history of yoga is entwined with the history of martial arts and dance. Many of the physical practices done in yoga studios today have their origin in these disciplines. Exploring the deep rooted connection between these three physical arts, this workshop will offer vigorous strengthening and stamina practice as well as a functional approach to a dynamic range of motion.
Kalani is excited to host our monthly Open Mic, a great place to share live music, readings, and performances. Hear new and old musical favorites, listen to stories and poetic verse, and be entertained by the extraordinary talent in our community.
We ask performers to perform for approximately 5 minutes, so that all will have an opportunity to take the stage.
For thousands of years drum and dance has been used for healing and expansion. Join us for a Full moon Kasha in which we dance to ancient rhythms with the intention of burning blocks away and expansion with rhythm and dance into our greater selves.
